Investigators say the woman had allegedly attacked a 68-year-old man before st***ing Erin. Authorities said the victims did not appear to know their attacker, and investigators found no apparent connection between them.

For Erin’s family, the tragedy is almost impossible to comprehend.

Five months earlier, Erin and her husband, Frank, had welcomed their daughter Madison into the world.

Becoming a mother had been Erin’s lifelong dream.

To them, she was someone deeply devoted to the people she loved. She was Frank’s wife, Madison’s mother and a cherished friend and family member.

Now, those closest to Erin are left trying to process a loss that no family should ever have to endure.

Frank has lost his wife.
