A 26-year-old mother who worked as a DoorDash driver vanished while making deliveries in the Atlanta area, setting off a frantic family search that ended in a devastating discovery at an apartment complex in Smyrna, Georgia. Shanteria “Tia” Mosely, known to friends and relatives as “KT,” left home on the morning of Wednesday, September 23, 2026, to complete her usual delivery shifts. By the afternoon, her family could no longer reach her by phone.

Concerned relatives began tracking her cellphone signal, which led them to the Park Valley apartment complex on Valley Parkway in Smyrna. Once there, family members started asking residents whether anyone had seen Mosely or noticed anything unusual involving her vehicle. During the search, they encountered 18-year-old Kingston Lammar Bradley looking out from a window. Mosely’s aunt later recounted approaching him and asking whether he had seen anyone exit the car. According to the family’s account and the subsequent police investigation, Bradley was observed carrying or handling a plastic tub or large container. When relatives drew closer, he dropped the container on a walkway and returned to his apartment.

Inside the container, the family found a dismembered torso. They were able to identify Mosely by a distinctive tattoo on her body. Police were called to the scene. Officers later searched Bradley’s apartment unit and reported finding multiple indicators of a violent crime and attempted cleanup, including blood evidence, a saw with blood on it, a strong odor of bleach, and cleaning materials such as a mop, bucket, and carpet cleaner.

Bradley was arrested and initially charged with concealing the death of another person. He was held without bond at the Cobb County Adult Detention Center. On the evening of September 25, detectives executed a search warrant on a vehicle connected to the investigation. In the trunk they discovered garbage bags containing additional human remains. Based on the evidence gathered, Smyrna police stated they believed the remains belonged to Shanteria Mosely. Bradley’s charges were upgraded to include malice murder.

Mosely’s family has spoken publicly about their grief and their determination to obtain answers. Her aunt, Michelle Weaver, told local reporters that the family wants justice and the full truth about what happened. Relatives have also expressed frustration with the initial police response, saying that much of the early searching was carried out by the family themselves after they tracked the phone to the complex.

DoorDash confirmed that Mosely was active on the platform on the day she disappeared but stated there was no evidence she had made a delivery to the specific address where her remains were later found. Court records show Bradley had prior charges earlier in 2026, including allegations involving threats and other offenses. He is scheduled to appear in court in early October and remains in custody.

Police have said the investigation is continuing and that detectives are conducting additional interviews to determine whether anyone else may have been involved. Mosely’s family continues to seek closure while authorities work to complete the forensic examination of the remains and build the case against the suspect.
