New Autopsy Findings and Investigation Details in the Killing of Shanteria Mosley

Authorities in Smyrna, Georgia, have released additional information about the death of 25-year-old Shanteria Mosley, whose remains were discovered at the Park Valley Apartments last week. A medical examiner’s autopsy confirmed that Mosley suffered a gunsH๏τ wound to the head. Investigators now believe she was killed between approximately 10 a.m. and noon on September 23, 2026, based on witness accounts and physical evidence gathered at the scene.
The case began when family members grew concerned after locating Mosley’s cellphone and vehicle near the apartment complex. They contacted the Smyrna Police Department. An officer responded to the missing-person report, conducted a preliminary check of the area, knocked on doors, and left after finding no immediate indication of a crime.

Sometime later, a witness observed a man carrying a large plastic tub through the complex. When the individual noticed someone approaching, he abandoned the container and fled. Officers recovered a human torso inside the tub. The man, identified as 18-year-old Kingston Bradley, was taken into custody and initially charged with concealing the death of another person.
Further investigation led police to execute a search warrant on a vehicle. Inside the trunk, officers found trash bags containing additional human remains. Following that discovery, prosecutors upgraded the charges against Bradley to malice murder. He remains held at the Cobb County Adult Detention Center.

Related police reports indicate that a search of Bradley’s apartment uncovered significant blood evidence, a saw with blood on it, cleaning supplies, and a strong odor of bleach. Investigators have not publicly disclosed a motive for the killing or confirmed whether Mosley and Bradley knew each other prior to the incident.
Some early accounts suggested Mosley may have been in the area while working as a DoorDash driver. However, the company later stated that she was not logged into the platform or accepting delivery orders on the day she is believed to have been killed.

The investigation remains active. Smyrna police continue to examine evidence and have not released further details about the exact sequence of events leading to Mosley’s death or the recovery of all her remains. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact local authorities.
