Waialee Beach ᴀssault Case: Police Report Multiple Arrests as Investigation Expands on Oahu’s North Shore

Police have announced further developments in the investigation into a violent incident at Waialee Beach, also known locally as “ᴅᴇᴀᴅ Man’s Curve,” on Oahu’s North Shore, where a 15-year-old boy and 23-year-old lifeguard Kekoa Tamale were reportedly injured after an intervention during the attack.

Authorities say the case has now led to multiple arrests as investigators continue to identify individuals allegedly involved, with additional suspects still under review.

According to police updates, five juveniles have been charged in connection with Attempted ᴀssault in the First Degree. In addition, two 17-year-olds are facing more serious charges, including Kidnapping and Attempted ᴀssault. A total of seven suspects are currently linked to the case, including a 19-year-old who reportedly turned himself in to authorities.

Investigators say public ᴀssistance has played a role in identifying suspects, with tips, pH๏τos, and video footage contributing to ongoing progress in the case. Police have indicated that further arrests remain possible as the investigation continues.

Both victims are reported to be recovering following hospitalization for serious injuries, including broken bones and concussions, according to the latest available information.
