Kingsman: The Secret Service, directed by Matthew Vaughn from a script he co-wrote with Jane Goldman, was released in February 2015. The film starred Colin Firth and Taron Egerton. A sequel, Kingsman: The Golden Circle, was released in September 2017. A prequel, The King’s Man, is to be released in December 2021. The first two Kingsman films were released by 20th Century Fox.
The film series is to continue with a fourth Kingsman film, тιтled Kingsman: The Blue Blood, and a spin-off film Statesman, which are in development. The franchise is also to expand to television with an eight-hour limited series, currently in development. Adaptations of the films have been published, and numerous Kingsman video games have been released since 2012.
