CHILDREN WERE INSIDE THE HOME — NEW DETAIL EMERGES IN HANNAH TERRY CASE

A disturbing detail emerged in court this week after Dr. Hannah Terry, a 45-year-old GP also known as Hannah Cain, was found d#ead inside her family home in Dersingham, Norfolk.

Mark Cain, 45, has been charged with her mu#der and appeared at Norwich Magistrates’ Court on October 7. He was remanded in custody and was not asked to enter a plea. The case remains at an early stage, and the allegation against him has not been proved in court.

Prosecutors told the court that Dr. Terry was found in an upstairs bedroom in the early hours of October 4. A post-mortem examination recorded a blunt-force injury to the right side of her head and an injury that could suggest compression of the neck.

But one detail immediately drew attention: children were present inside the property at the time.

Reports indicate that the family had been hosting a sleepover for children at the home that night. The presence of children has added another deeply troubling dimension to an investigation that is still unfolding.

Dr. Terry was a GP at Grimston Medical Centre and had also worked in a pool of doctors regularly available to members of the Royal Family in the nearby area. Her professional life included more than 15 years as a qualified doctor and around eight years as a GP.

Following her d#ath, tributes were left outside the medical centre, with colleagues and patients remembering her as a caring and trusted doctor. Her family has asked for privacy while they grieve.

Mark Cain is due to face further proceedings at King’s Lynn Crown Court. Investigators are continuing to establish exactly what happened inside the property that night.

With children present and a family home at the centre of the investigation, many questions remain unanswered.

What happened inside the house before emergency services were called — and what led to the events now being examined by investigators?
