🥺💗 BORN WITHOUT ARMS OR LEGS — MARIA GREW UP LEARNING THAT THERE IS MORE THAN ONE WAY TO DO THINGS 🌈✨

When Maria was born in the Philippines with tetra-amelia syndrome, she entered the world without all four limbs. Her condition meant she would face challenges that most children never have to think about. 💔👶

But Maria’s story changed when Adrianne and Jason welcomed her into their family.

They knew raising a child with significant physical differences would require patience and learning. After Maria joined their family at just over two years old, they searched for resources, connected with other families and discovered new ways to support her. 🏡💗

And then they learned something beautiful:

Maria didn’t always need someone to show her how to do things. Sometimes, she simply needed the freedom to find her own way. 🥹✨

She developed her own methods for playing and exploring, discovered the things she loved and especially enjoyed spending time on swings. Every new skill showed her parents that she was capable of far more than they had imagined. 🎠🌷

Before adopting Maria, her parents had looked for stories of other people living with tetra-amelia syndrome. Seeing others build meaningful and independent lives gave them hope for their daughter’s future.

Now, Maria is creating her own story.

Her parents don’t focus on what she cannot do. Instead, they encourage her to discover what she can do — in her own way, at her own pace. 💪💕

Maria’s journey is a beautiful reminder that there isn’t only one way to play, learn, explore or build an independent life. 🌈

She wasn’t simply given a home.
