🥺💗 BORN WITH LEGS JUST 5CM LONG — DAISY GREW UP TO SHOW THE WORLD THAT DIFFERENT CAN BE BEAUTIFUL 🌈✨

When Daisy May Demetre was born, her legs were only around 5cm long. She had a rare condition called fibular hemimelia, which meant some of the bones in her lower legs were missing or severely shortened. 💗

At just 18 months old, Daisy underwent major surgery to remove her affected legs. Afterward, she began rehabilitation and slowly learned to walk with prosthetic legs. 👣🦿

Growing up with a visible difference wasn’t always easy. Daisy faced challenges at school and was sometimes teased for looking different. But with the love and support of her family, she continued to grow into a cheerful, confident and remarkably independent little girl. 🌷

Then something unexpected happened.

Daisy discovered the world of fashion. Encouraged by her father, Alex, she stepped onto the runway and quickly captured people’s attention with her confidence and bright personality. ✨

She appeared at London Fashion Week in 2018, followed by Paris and New York Fashion Week in 2019. That same year, she was honored as Child of Courage at the Pride of Birmingham Awards. 💙

Today, Daisy continues to share her adventures and everyday life, showing others that a difference does not have to stand in the way of dreams.

Her journey is a beautiful reminder that sometimes the things that make us different can become part of what makes us strong. 🌈💗🕊️
