‼️ THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO BE TALKING ABOUT ABI’S 7TH BIRTHDAY. INSTEAD, ONE SISTER IS GONE AND THE OTHER IS FIGHTING FOR HER LIFE. 💔🙏

Two little sisters were on their way to school in Austin, Texas, when a devastating crash changed their family forever.

According to their aunt Cindy, 9-year-old Lilly and her 6-year-old sister, Abi, were pᴀssengers in a vehicle driven by their aunt Jennifer Hernandez when it was struck by a Cybertruck.

Both girls suffered critical injuries and were airlifted to the hospital.

Lilly required CPR at the scene.

Tragically, she did not survive.

Investigators say the collision remains under investigation.

While the family tries to process the loss of Lilly, they are now facing another agonizing fight — doing everything possible to help Abi survive.

Abi remains in critical condition.

According to her family, she suffered severe abdominal and intestinal injuries and underwent hours of emergency surgery. She also suffered serious brain trauma. Her family says doctors performed an operation intended to relieve dangerous pressure in her brain.

Abi has been kept in an induced coma while her medical team works to stabilize her and protect her remaining brain function.

Now, doctors are beginning to reduce some of the medications and support used to keep her sedated so they can better ᴀssess how her brain and body are responding.

There are still many unanswered questions.

And through all of it, Abi’s mother, Jennifer, has remained by her daughter’s side.

Jennifer was injured in the crash herself, suffering fractures in her lower back, significant swelling around her hip and abdominal bruising. Her family eventually convinced her to go to the emergency room to be evaluated.

But after receiving care, she returned to Abi.

She reads to her daughter.

She talks to her.

She touches her and stays close.

Because even while Jennifer is hurting, she wants her little girl to know that Mom is there. ❤️

Cindy says Abi looks very different now because of everything her body has endured. But she wants people to remember that behind the hospital machines and medical reports is a little girl with a personality, dreams and things she loves.

Abi is the “princessy” sister.

She loves jewelry, lip gloss, purses, plushies and drawing. 💕🎀

Her big sister Lilly was remembered as brave and funny. She loved gaming and, according to Cindy, shared her mother’s humor, laugh and smile.

Both girls also loved art. Their father, Juan Segura, is an artist, and the sisters loved drawing like their dad.

“They were always smiling,” Cindy said. “You couldn’t catch them on a bad day.”

That is how their family wants Lilly to be remembered — not by the crash, but by her laughter, her smile and the joy she brought to everyone around her. 🕊️

The family had traveled together, explored together and built countless memories they expected to continue making for years.

Now Juan and Jennifer are grieving Lilly while desperately holding onto hope for Abi.

And Cindy says there is one thing this family needs more than anything:

Prayer.

“May God breathe life back into her. May He mend what’s broken. Bring her back home.”

So tonight, please remember little Abi.

Pray for her brain.

Pray for every injured part of her tiny body.

Pray for the doctors caring for her and facing difficult decisions about what comes next.

Pray for Jennifer, who is trying to heal from her own injuries while refusing to leave her daughter’s side.

And pray for Juan and the entire family as they face the unimaginable pain of losing Lilly while fighting with everything they have for Abi.

Next week should have been Abi’s 7th birthday.
