👶💙 “HE’S ABSOLUTELY PERFECT TO ME.”

When Rosie Higgs was 20 weeks pregnant, she learned that her unborn son, Henry, might be born with a rare condition called amniotic band syndrome. Doctors believed he could be born without both legs and with only one arm. 💔

The possibility of ending the pregnancy was raised, but Rosie never hesitated.

“There was no doubt in my mind that I was keeping him.” ❤️

Henry was born on May 13, 2020. He had no legs, one arm, and fused fingers on one hand. But the moment Rosie finally held her baby, all the fear and uncertainty she had carried disappeared. She simply saw her son. 🥹💙

As Henry grew, he learned to roll over, play, reach for things, and explore the world just like any other child. After surgery helped separate the fingers on his hand, he was even able to pick things up more easily and feed himself. ✨

His body may be different, but to his mother, that has never changed who he is.
