The letter was dated July 24 — just one day after Will’s pᴀssing — and was addressed to his parents, Jason and Brittney Roberts. It came from President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump, who expressed their condolences and remembered Will for his courage, faith and the impact he had on people across the country.
For Brittney, one detail was especially meaningful: the letter also mentioned Will’s younger sister, Charlie. She later explained that Charlie had walked through the entire journey alongside her family, making that small detail deeply emotional for her.
