💙 KEEP PRAYING FOR XAVIER TAYLOR — HIS FAMILY CONTINUES TO HOLD ON TO HOPE

Day after day, Xavier Taylor’s family continues to stand by their 12-year-old son, surrounding him with love, faith and hope as they wait for signs of progress.

Xavier was critically injured on May 26 during youth baseball warmups in Maple Shade, New Jersey, when an errant baseball struck him in the neck/head area. He collapsed and suffered cardiac arrest before being airlifted to Cooper University Hospital.

Since then, his story has brought together an entire community. Blue lights have illuminated landmarks in his honor, baseball bats have appeared on porches, and teammates and supporters have continued to carry his No. 6 jersey as a symbol that Xavier has not been forgotten.

Earlier updates from his family said Xavier remained on a ventilator, while his vital signs had stabilized and he was receiving nutritional care. More recent claims circulating online about neurological improvement and other changes have not been independently verified by major news outlets, so they should be treated cautiously.

For Xavier’s family, however, the focus remains simple: keep showing up, keep believing and keep supporting their son.

They have encouraged supporters to continue praying and, for those who choose, fasting for Xavier — asking for healing, strength and peace during an incredibly difficult journey.

More than two months into this heartbreaking wait, the messages surrounding Xavier remain the same: one day at a time, one prayer at a time, one moment of hope at a time.

His No. 6 continues to represent more than a baseball number. For the people who love Xavier, it represents a promise that he will continue to be remembered and supported every step of the way.
