While many children finish school and spend their afternoons playing, studying or relaxing with their families, this young boy spends his evenings selling food on the streets to help support his family.
His story reflects a reality faced by children in many parts of the world. Instead of having a childhood free from financial worries, some children take on responsibilities far beyond their years because their families depend on their contributions.
They work.
They sacrifice.
And sometimes, they are forced to grow up much sooner than they should.
Their determination can be deeply inspiring, but the circumstances behind it are also heartbreaking. A child working late into the evening is often carrying a story that people pᴀssing by may never know.
We may not see the struggles happening behind a simple roadside food stall. We may not know what brought a child there or what dreams they have for the future.
But every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow and experience childhood without carrying burdens meant for adults.
Sometimes, the stories we barely notice are the ones that deserve our attention the most.
