NEW RANSOM NOTES COULD HOLD A CLUE IN THE NANCY GUTHRIE MYSTERY — INVESTIGATORS ARE NOW FOCUSING ON THE WRITER’S WORDS

More than six months after Nancy Guthrie disappeared from her Tucson-area home, investigators are continuing to examine one of the most unusual elements of the case: ransom-related messages sent to her family.
Nancy, 84, was reported missing on February 1, 2026. Authorities believe she was taken from her Catalina Foothills residence during the early morning hours. Since then, investigators have examined surveillance footage, physical evidence and other information while appealing to the public for help.
Now, attention is increasingly focused on the language used in two messages released by authorities in July.
