💔🙏 SHE COMFORTS PEOPLE THROUGH THEIR FINAL DAYS — NOW THIS TEXAS HOSPICE NURSE IS FIGHTING FOR HER OWN LIFE

For years, Jacki Spicer has walked into some of the hardest rooms imaginable.

As a hospice nurse in Wichita Falls, Texas, her job is to care for people nearing the end of their lives and to help their families navigate moments filled with grief, fear and uncertainty.

She holds hands.

She listens.

She offers compᴀssion when words are difficult to find.

But now, Jacki is facing a battle of her own.

Jacki is a wife, a mother of three daughters and a registered nurse whose Christian faith is deeply rooted in Jesus Christ. Her own cancer journey began years ago, when she was diagnosed with melanoma.

After undergoing treatment, Jacki hoped that painful chapter of her life was finally behind her.

It wasn’t.

The melanoma returned — and this time, it had reached her brain. 🧠💔

Jacki underwent a craniotomy as doctors worked to address the cancer’s impact on her health. According to her family, melanoma cells are now circulating through her blood, and her body has not been responding well to treatment.

Yet despite everything happening in her own life, Jacki has continued to care for others.

She continues walking into hospice rooms to comfort patients approaching the end of their lives. She supports their loved ones, offers reᴀssurance and tries to bring a sense of peace to families experiencing moments they will never forget.

She does all of this while knowing that she is fighting a serious illness herself.

Now, the people closest to Jacki are hoping she can finally receive the same kind of care she has spent so much of her life giving to others. ❤️

They want her to be able to step away from work when her body needs rest without worrying about whether missing a shift will mean another bill goes unpaid.

They want Jacki to have the freedom to focus her energy on treatment, healing and the people who matter most — her husband and three daughters.

For someone who has spent countless hours helping others through their most painful moments, this is a time when she needs a community standing beside her.

And her faith remains an important source of strength.

So tonight, her loved ones are asking people to send Jacki something she can hold onto during the difficult days ahead.
