💔🕊️ MOTHER ALLOWED PRIVATE FINAL GOODBYE WITH 1-YEAR-OLD SON BEFORE HIS FUNERAL

A Georgia mother facing criminal charges in connection with the pᴀssing of her 1-year-old son was given one final private moment with her baby before his funeral.

Deja Coleman, 29, was allowed to visit the body of her son, Daniel Coleman Jr., at a mortuary in Atlanta just hours before the child’s funeral service.

Daniel pᴀssed away on July 29 after authorities alleged that he had been left inside a vehicle for nearly nine hours while Coleman was working at Northside Hospital Gwinnett in Lawrenceville.

According to authorities, the child was later found unresponsive inside the vehicle after temperatures reportedly became extremely high. Coleman now faces charges including second-degree murder and cruelty to children. 💔

The case has drawn significant attention because of the age of the child and the circumstances surrounding his pᴀssing.

Before Daniel’s funeral, a judge authorized Coleman to attend the service. However, she ultimately did not attend the afternoon ceremony.

Instead, Coleman was transported to Hollifield Mortuary early Saturday morning, where she was permitted to spend approximately 45 minutes privately with her son.

According to her attorney, Tom Ford, Coleman was shackled and wearing jail clothing during the visit.

For a mother facing the loss of her child while also being held in custody, the moment was undoubtedly an emotionally difficult one. 💔🕊️

Daniel was then laid to rest as family and loved ones gathered to remember the little boy whose life ended far too soon.

Coleman remains in jail without bond as the legal case continues.

Her attorney has described Daniel’s pᴀssing as a tragic accident and has indicated that the defense intends to pursue additional legal motions.

The criminal allegations remain allegations, and Coleman is enтιтled to due process and the presumption of innocence unless proven guilty in court. ⚖️

But beyond the courtroom, Daniel’s pᴀssing has left a family facing an unimaginable loss.

He was only one year old.

His life was brief, but his memory will remain with the people who loved him.

For those mourning Daniel, the days surrounding his funeral are likely to be filled with grief, questions and memories of a little boy who should have had many more birthdays, holidays and ordinary childhood moments ahead of him. 👶💔

The private visit at the mortuary gave his mother a final opportunity to see her son before he was laid to rest—a short moment that, regardless of the legal proceedings still ahead, can never be recreated.

Now, the family must face the difficult days ahead while the legal process continues.

🕊️ Rest peacefully, baby Daniel. May your memory be surrounded by love.

🙏 Please keep Daniel’s family and loved ones in your thoughts during this heartbreaking time.
