🩷 AFTER NINE SURGERIES AND 114 DAYS IN THE HOSPITAL, LITTLE JULIETTE FINALLY BEAT THE ODDS AND CAME HOME TO HER FAMILY

From the moment she entered the world, baby Juliette’s journey was unlike anything her parents had ever imagined. 👶💗
Born with Treacher Collins syndrome, a rare congenital condition affecting the development of the facial bones and soft tissues, Juliette faced serious challenges from her very first breath.
She was born with a severely underdeveloped lower jaw, a bilateral cleft lip and palate, and significantly underdeveloped external ears. Doctors also evaluated her for Pierre Robin sequence, a condition that can make breathing especially difficult in newborns.
Because of her complex airway, Juliette needed immediate breathing support just moments after birth. 🏥
For her parents, the joy of welcoming their daughter was quickly replaced by weeks of uncertainty, hospital rooms, procedures, and difficult conversations with specialists.

Yet through every obstacle, one thing remained unchanged—the incredible determination shining through their tiny little girl. ✨
“Our small but mighty princess amazes us every single day,” her mother shared. “She reminds us over and over again just how incredibly strong she is.”
One of Juliette’s biggest milestones came on June 10, when surgeons performed a tracheostomy, replacing the breathing tube she had relied on since birth with a tracheostomy tube designed to provide a more stable airway.
The procedure lasted nearly two hours while her family anxiously waited outside the operating room, praying for good news. 🙏
When the surgeons finally emerged with reᴀssuring smiles, an overwhelming wave of relief filled the room.
“She did so well,” her mother recalled. 💕
During recovery, doctors discovered that one of Juliette’s lungs was receiving less oxygen than the other. Thankfully, the issue was identified quickly and corrected, and follow-up imaging showed that she was healing well.
At the time, the determined little fighter weighed just over five pounds—but her courage seemed far greater than her tiny size. 🥹💪
The road ahead, however, remained anything but easy.

Because of her condition, Juliette relies on specialized medical equipment every day. Each night, she sleeps connected to monitors that carefully track her vital signs, while other equipment helps maintain her airway and clear secretions because she is not yet able to swallow normally.
Along the way, her parents learned skills they never imagined they would need, transforming from first-time parents into full-time caregivers, nurses, and fierce advocates for their daughter. ❤️🩹
Then came one of the family’s most frightening moments.
While hospitalized, Juliette became sick after vomiting, causing her tracheostomy tube to become displaced. Within seconds, emergency staff rushed in to stabilize her breathing.
Further testing revealed pneumonia, and specialists closely monitored her lungs as she recovered from yet another frightening setback. 🏥💔
But even during the hardest moments, Juliette never stopped fighting.
“Every single day she teaches us what resilience truly looks like,” her father said. “No matter what she faces, she never gives up.”
And then, after 114 long days filled with surgeries, procedures, setbacks, and countless victories—both big and small—the day her family had been dreaming about finally arrived.
Juliette was going home. 🏡🎉
Walking through their front door with their daughter for the very first time felt almost miraculous after nearly four months surrounded by hospital beds, monitors, and medical equipment.
Now, their home is filled with the simple moments they once feared they might never experience. 💗
Juliette loves being cuddled.
She enjoys warm baths.
She relaxes peacefully in her swing.
And she often falls asleep while listening to bedtime stories read by her dad. 📖🌙
She loves her pacifier, prefers being held upright, and has no problem making her opinions known whenever she’s unhappy.
“She definitely has a spicy personality,” her mother laughed. “And we wouldn’t have it any other way.” 😄🌶️
Although frequent medical appointments and specialized care remain part of everyday life, her family can finally look toward the future with hope instead of fear.
“People often notice the challenges first,” her mother said. “But when we look at Juliette, we see joy, determination, and a little girl who has already overcome more than most people face in a lifetime.” 🌟
After 114 days in the hospital and nine surgeries, Juliette is finally where her family always wanted her to be—home, safe and surrounded by unconditional love. 🏡💞
Her journey is far from over.
But the little girl who fought through every challenge has already shown everyone just how powerful courage can be. 🩷✨
And after everything she has endured, there may be no sweeter victory than simply being home. 🥹🏡
