💔🚨 Father and 11-Year-Old Daughter Killed in Tragic Texas Crash as Two Other Children Survive

A Texas family is facing an unimaginable loss after a devastating crash claimed the lives of a 28-year-old father and his 11-year-old daughter.

Tomas Castro Martinez and his daughter, Sofia Elisa Castro, were killed Wednesday after their SUV crashed into the back of a parked garbage truck in Grand Prairie, Texas.

According to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, Grand Prairie police said the crash happened around 4:30 p.m. on Northeast 5th Street.

Tomas died at the scene.

Sofia and two other children were transported to area hospitals following the crash. Sofia later died from the injuries she sustained.

Police said another child remained in critical but stable condition, while the third child suffered minor injuries.

For Tomas’ family, the sudden loss has been almost impossible to process.

His brother, Alex Castro, shared the heartbreaking news and described the family’s grief as overwhelming.

“I am still trying to process this loss,” Alex wrote. “It is hard to put into words the pain and shock we are feeling.”

The family is now grieving not one loved one, but two.

Tomas was only 28 years old.

His daughter Sofia was just 11.
