Growing up, Tilly refused to see her limb difference as something she needed to hide. Instead, she embraced it and became an advocate for innovation, accessibility, and a future where prosthetics could offer more freedom and possibility.

The early prosthetic hands Tilly used were limited. They could perform basic movements, such as opening and closing, but they could not provide the level of control and flexibility many users hoped for.

That began to change when Tilly started working with British robotics company Open Bionics.
