Patricia was airlifted to UC Davis Medical Center on June 27 after emergency responders found her with critical injuries. According to family members, she underwent emergency surgery shortly after arriving at the hospital.
Her grandmother, Monica Edmiston, shared updates through a GoFundMe page created to help the family with everyday expenses while they remained at Patricia’s bedside throughout her hospitalization.
The fundraiser explains that Patricia sustained severe injuries to her head, legs, and other parts of her body. Despite the trauma, her family says she has shown remarkable courage throughout her treatment.
“Patricia is an incredibly strong little girl, and her resilience is inspiring everyone around her,” the family wrote.
