Florida Community Mourns the Loss of Sisters Tiana and Jaliyah Watts

💔🕊️ A Florida community is grieving the heartbreaking loss of two young sisters, 2-year-old Tiana Watts and 11-month-old Jaliyah Watts, following a tragic incident in Orange County.
According to authorities, deputies responded to an apartment complex on South Rio Grande Avenue after receiving reports of a domestic disturbance involving a man allegedly chasing a woman with a firearm. Investigators say the woman was able to escape and alerted authorities that her children remained inside the apartment.

Shortly afterward, additional reports of gunfire prompted an urgent response from law enforcement and emergency personnel.
When deputies arrived, they found 33-year-old Bryant Watts deceased at the scene. Tiana and Jaliyah were transported to a nearby hospital, but despite lifesaving efforts, both children later died from their injuries.
The tragedy has deeply affected family members, neighbors, and the wider community. Loved ones remember Tiana as an energetic and curious child, while Jaliyah was known for her joyful smile and affectionate nature.

Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident, including reviewing prior reports, available evidence, and previous interactions involving Bryant Watts.
In the days following the tragedy, counselors, local organizations, and community members have come together to support the family. Flowers, memorials, and messages of condolence continue to honor the sisters’ memories.
As the community mourns, many are choosing to remember Tiana and Jaliyah not for the tragedy that ended their lives, but for the happiness, love, and joy they brought to those around them.
