At 28, Leavitt is the youngest press secretary in White House history, and the first to become pregnant while in office.

She stepped away from the podium on April 27, just days before Vivi made her entrance into the world.

The spokeswoman called the news “the greatest Christmas gift” she and her husband, Nicholas Riccio, 60, could have asked for.

She broke the news in an Instagram post showing off her baby bump in front of a Christmas tree.

In the caption, Leavitt also revealed the Sєx of her second child, writing, “The greatest Christmas gift we could ever ask for – a baby girl coming in May 2026.

“My husband and I are thrilled to grow our family and can’t wait to watch our son become a big brother.

“My heart is overflowing with graтιтude to God for the blessing of motherhood, which I truly believe is the closest thing to Heaven on Earth.

“I am also extremely grateful to President Trump and our Chief of Staff Susie Wiles for their support, and for fostering a pro-family environment in the White House.

“2026 is going to be a great year and I am so excited to be a girl mom!”
