At just one year old, Rumi is facing medical challenges that few adults could imagine, let alone a child so young.

Weighing only 3 kilograms, Rumi has spent much of her short life in hospitals rather than at home enjoying the carefree experiences most children take for granted. Her journey has touched many people as her family continues to fight alongside her through every setback and every small victory.

Doctors diagnosed Rumi with two rare and serious liver conditions: biliary atresia and hepatic fibrosis.
