Starring: Scarlett Johansson
Quote: “The monster isn’t outside the car… it’s what the world does while you’re trapped in it.”

Synopsis:
Single mother Rachel Trenton (Scarlett Johansson) drives her anxious son to a remote mechanic’s shop in rural Maine, hoping to fix their dying car and their collapsing life at the same time . But the yard dog—Cujo, a gentle Saint Bernard loved by the whole town—has been bitten by something in the fog‑choked woods. As infection twists him into a hulking, relentless predator, a freak heatwave and a downed power line cut the farm off from the world .

Trapped in a sun‑baked car with no signal, dwindling water and a child slipping toward heatstroke, Rachel must outthink a beast that never gets tired and a town that doesn’t know she’s dying on the edge of it. With every horn blast and shattered window, the line between victim and survivor snaps a little more.

Review: A suffocating, nerve‑shredding reimagining—minimal locations, maximum dread, anchored by a raw, desperate turn from Johansson.
