8-Year-Old Girl Dies After ATV Overturns During Family Vacation in Oklahoma
A family vacation meant to create happy memories instead ended in tragedy when 8-year-old Kinsley Williams lost her life in an ATV accident in southeastern Oklahoma.
According to authorities, the crash occurred on the evening of June 17, 2026, near Buck Creek Road in the community of Moyers, located in Pushmataha County. Kinsley, who was visiting Oklahoma from Texas with her family, was operating an all-terrain vehicle when the devastating incident occurred.
Investigators reported that Kinsley was driving at a high rate of speed when she attempted to make a left turn. The ATV overturned, ejecting her from the vehicle before it landed on top of her. The impact caused severe injuries, including internal trauma.
Kinsley’s 3-year-old brother was also riding on the ATV at the time of the crash. Remarkably, he escaped without injury.
Emergency responders were called to the scene around 10 p.m. Family members later shared that they had been searching for Kinsley for several hours before she was located. Despite rescue efforts, she was pronounced ᴅᴇᴀᴅ from her injuries.
Authorities noted that neither child was wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident, a factor that remains part of the ongoing investigation. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol continues to review the circumstances surrounding the crash, and no charges have been announced.
As loved ones mourn her loss, they are remembering Kinsley for the vibrant personality that touched so many lives.

Her grandmother, Dawn Manning, shared that Kinsley loved fishing, riding dirt bikes and four-wheelers, playing Roblox, and working on creative projects with her mother. She was always eager to explore, learn, and embrace new adventures.
Just weeks away from her ninth birthday in August, Kinsley’s life was tragically cut short. Those who knew her say her laughter, compᴀssion, and boundless energy will never be forgotten.
