Dallas Cowboys legend makes bizarre Taylor Swift and Caitlin Clark claim after watching the Chiefs together

After Caitlin Clark was spotted next to Taylor Swift at the Chiefs-Texans game, Michael Irvin looked at the meeting with malice.

Swift regularly attends Arrowhead Stadium to support her boyfriend Travis Kelce in a win-or-go-home contest. During the divisional playoff game against Houston, she was seen with Clark and Ed Kelce in the suite as the Chiefs cruised to victory.

While most saw no harm in their presence, the Cowboys legend insisted that his former team kept their rights to the nickname ‘America’s Team,’ despite the Chiefs’ popularity.

In a recent episode of the It Is What It Is podcast, Irvin sH๏τ Clark and Swift, accusing the music and basketball stars of stealing the ‘America’s Team’ tag from Dallas.

‘We’re going to talk about Caitlin Clark and Taylor Swift at the Kansas City Chiefs game,’ Irvin said. ‘They’re trying to make that (happen).’

‘Those are two good old American girls. They’re trying to make those Chiefs—they’re trying to steal America’s тιтle.’

While having a 14-time Grammy-winning artist and the face of the WNBA in the stands may be beneficial, much of the Chiefs’ success comes from their performances on the field.

The Chiefs, led by Patrick Mahomes have reached the AFC тιтle game seven straight times and are on the verge of winning three consecutive Super Bowl тιтles, which would be their fourth in six years.

On the other hand, the Cowboys hold the longest NFC championship game appearance drought, which dates back to the 1995 season.

To add salt to the wound, their divisional rivals, the Philadelphia Eagles and Washington Commanders, will compete for the conference тιтle and a chance at the Super Bowl this weekend.

Although Kansas City may not be America’s Team, they will take on the Buffalo Bills for the AFC Crown as they are two wins away from becoming the first NFL team to three-peat.
