Why Kansas City Chiefs had to move Travis Kelce’s VIP suite when he started dating Taylor Swift

Kansas City Chiefs moved Travis Kelce’s personal suite at Arrowhead Stadium when he started dating Taylor Swift, it can be revealed.

Swift and Kelce went public in September 2023 when the singer joined his mom, Donna, in the Chiefs star’s suite for an NFL game against Chicago Bears.

It was a moment that captured interest from Swift’s fans around the globe and it caused such a commotion at Arrowhead that Kelce’s suite was moved to keep Chiefs fans safe, it has been claimed.

A Chiefs season-ticket holder for 50 years who sat near the Kelce suite pre-Taylor, Pam Hatcher, spoke to the Kansas City Star about that day in 2023 when Swift was at the Chiefs game.

‘We ended up with like eight Jackson County Sheriffs down there, and over 18 Arrowhead security (members), and they still couldn’t handle it,’ she said.

‘It was a mess. We left when there was about 10 minutes left in the third quarter, because we were worried about being trampled.’

The report in the Star says that after that game, Kelce’s suite was moved with Hatcher adding that since then, things have returned to normal.

‘You only can get to it from the elevators and you only can get to it from the club level, Hatcher said of the new Kelce suite.

‘After she sat in our section at 121, she moved directly to 119 in that same suite she’s been there ever since. It’s much better. Everybody’s calmed down about it.’

Swift is set to return to Arrowhead on Saturday as Kelce and the Chiefs begin their postseason against the Houston Texans.

If the Chiefs win, they will face the winner of Baltimore Ravens and Buffalo Bills for a place in the Super Bowl in New Orleans in February.

The game against the Ravens or Bills will also be at Arrowhead, meaning Swift will almost certainly be back in the Kelce family suite.
