Investigators have recovered additional images from security cameras at Nancy Guthrie’s Arizona home, adding another piece to the ongoing investigation into the disappearance of Savannah Guthrie’s mother.
However, the evidence is more limited than some viral posts suggest. ABC News reported that investigators recovered thumbnail images from motion-activated cameras covering the pool, backyard and side yard, but no video footage was recovered from those cameras. Sources told ABC News that the recovered images did not show anything suspicious and did not capture the night Nancy disappeared.
Separately, previously released FBI footage showed a masked person approaching Nancy’s front door and appearing to interfere with a security camera. Investigators also received information suggesting the same person may have appeared at the property before the suspected abduction, although authorities have cautioned that conclusions must be based on verifiable evidence.
Savannah Guthrie later announced a $1 million family reward, bringing the combined reward offered by the family and law enforcement to $1.2 million for information leading to Nancy’s recovery.
The investigation remains active, and authorities have not publicly identified a confirmed suspect responsible for Nancy’s disappearance.
For now, the recovered surveillance material adds questions rather than a definitive answer — and investigators continue working to establish exactly what happened to Nancy Guthrie.
