🕊️💔 St. Louis Family Continues Seeking Answers More Than a Year After the Loss of Brothers Jordan and Richard Neal III ❤️
More than a year after two young brothers lost their lives in a heartbreaking incident in St. Louis, their family continues honoring their memory while hoping new information will help investigators move the case forward.
Jordan Neal, 9, and Richard Neal III, 10, were traveling in a vehicle near the intersection of Union Boulevard and Bircher Boulevard in May 2025 when a tragic act of violence claimed their lives.
According to investigators, the incident began after the vehicle the boys were riding in nearly collided with another car. Moments later, gunfire erupted, leaving the community stunned and a family forever changed.
For their father, Richard Neal Jr., the loss remains impossible to put into words.
One memory, in particular, continues to stay with him every day.
Jordan, who lived with cerebral palsy, had reached an extraordinary milestone earlier that same day.
His father recalled that Jordan had always moved by crawling, but on that morning he stood and walked independently for the very first time.
It was a moment the family had celebrated after years of determination, therapy, and perseverance.
Sadly, it also became the last day they would share together.
Richard Neal Jr. says he chooses to remember both of his sons for the happiness they brought into the lives of everyone around them.
Family members describe Jordan and Richard III as joyful, caring children whose laughter could brighten any room and whose futures were filled with limitless possibilities.
Last week, loved ones gathered for a balloon release marking the anniversary of the tragedy.
As balloons rose into the sky, family members reflected on cherished memories while renewing their commitment to keeping the boys’ legacy alive.
Meanwhile, efforts to advance the investigation continue.
A partnership between Kings Auto Repair and the nonprofit organization Dads of St. Louis has established a $10,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.
Community leaders say they hope someone with important information will come forward and help provide the answers the family has waited so long to receive.
Police have also released surveillance images showing a maroon four-door Nissan believed to be connected to the investigation. Detectives encourage anyone with relevant information to contact authorities.
Despite the pᴀssing of time, Richard Neal Jr. says he refuses to lose hope.
He believes one day his family will receive the answers they have been searching for, and he remains determined to continue seeking justice for both of his sons.
For many across St. Louis, Jordan and Richard III are remembered not simply for the tragedy that ended their young lives, but for the joy, resilience, and love they shared during the time they had.
❤️🕊️ As the investigation continues, family, friends, and community members hope that renewed public attention will help bring long-awaited answers, ensuring that Jordan Neal and Richard Neal III are remembered with the love and dignity they deserve while their family’s search for justice continues.
