Just one week ago, baby Jordan’s condition had her family fearing the worst. Her tiny body had turned a frightening shade of yellow as doctors worked tirelessly to stabilize her after a series of life-threatening medical complications.

Jordan, from Amarillo, Texas, has already overcome an extraordinary list of medical challenges. She has battled severe jaundice, dangerously high bilirubin levels, E. coli infection, critically low blood sugar, an enlarged liver and spleen, multiple blood transfusions, and even an exchange transfusion—all within the earliest days of her life.

Recently, her family finally received the liver biopsy they had been praying for.

The results, however, brought difficult news.

Doctors discovered significant scarring and fibrosis, indicating that healthy liver tissue has been replaced by scar tissue following the serious infections Jordan has endured. Physicians also explained that the damage is affecting her liver’s ability to properly produce and regulate glucose, making careful monitoring essential.

Because of these findings, Jordan is now preparing to be transferred to Children’s Medical Center in Dallas, where pediatric liver specialists will evaluate her condition and determine the best course of treatment.

Among the possibilities now being considered is a liver transplant—a diagnosis that no parent ever hopes to hear.

Despite the uncertainty, Jordan’s parents, Christopher and Charity, remain unwavering in their faith.

In a message shared with supporters, they said they continue to declare healing over their daughter’s life and refuse to allow the diagnosis to define their hope or their trust in God. They believe Jordan’s story is still being written and remain confident that brighter days are ahead.
