Surgeons implanted a pulmonary valve, reconstructed his pulmonary arteries and used a specialized technique called the LeCompte maneuver to reposition the arteries and relieve pressure on his compressed airways. ❤️‍🩹🫀

The surgery gave Jackson the chance his family had been praying for.

And then came an incredible surprise.

He recovered far faster than anyone expected. 🌟

Instead of remaining in the hospital for months, Jackson and his parents were able to go home when he was just 7 weeks old — nearly four months earlier than doctors had anticipated. 🏡🎄💙

His airways were open, he was breathing normally, and his family was able to bring their little boy home in time for his first Christmas.
