His first battle began when he was just 2 years old, after he was diagnosed with Medulloblastoma, a serious form of childhood cancer affecting the brain. The diagnosis brought months of difficult treatments, including multiple brain surgeries and radiation therapy.

For Zac and his family, those early years were filled with uncertainty and countless challenges. But through determination, medical care, and the support of loved ones, Zac reached a remarkable milestone — ten years cancer-free.

Zac was diagnosed with B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, bringing him back to Children’s of Alabama for another chapter in his medical journey.
