A family in Ohio is mourning the loss of their baby after authorities say a trusted caregiver allegedly admitted to forcefully shaking the infant when he became upset and began crying.

Elijah Dennis’ parents say they believed their baby was safe with a family friend while they briefly stepped out to run errands.

But when they returned home, they reportedly found their little boy unconscious in the caregiver’s arms.
