👶💗 SHE WAS ONLY 11 DAYS OLD WHEN DOCTORS FOUND CANCER — AND ONE ROUTINE CHECK MAY HAVE CHANGED EVERYTHING

Little Daisy Stovell was only 11 days old when doctors discovered that she had retinoblastoma, a rare form of eye cancer. Her journey began after she was born with breathing difficulties and was taken to hospital for further tests. 🏥🥺

While Daisy was under general anaesthesia, doctors decided to perform what seemed like a routine eye examination. Instead, they found a tiny tumour that was only a few millimetres in size — and that discovery may have saved her sight and even her life. ✨

At just three and a half weeks old, Daisy began chemotherapy. She was later taken to Birmingham Children’s Hospital for specialist care, where treatment reduced the tumour by more than half. Months of laser treatment followed to clear the remaining growth. 💗

Daisy also faced a serious infection and was later diagnosed with a rare chromosomal deletion syndrome that explained some of her early difficulties.

At six months, doctors noticed a small regrowth, but further treatment successfully cleared it. Today, Daisy has been cancer-free for 14 months and continues regular check-ups every 10 weeks. 🌷

She may still face challenges — including hearing aids, glᴀsses, and difficulties walking — but her mother describes her simply as “amazing.” Daisy especially loves being in the water. 🥹💕

Her story is a beautiful reminder that sometimes, a seemingly ordinary moment can make an extraordinary difference.
