❤️‍🩹 “Gone Too Soon: Remembering 16-Year-Old Deven Antonucci” ❤️‍🩹

Deven Antonucci was just 16 years old — a teenager with energy, dreams, and a deep love for the people in his life.

Known for his warm personality, bright smile, and what friends described as “main character energy,” Deven lived life with a sense of joy and connection. He loved being near water, spending time on boats, and most of all, being surrounded by the people he cared about.

Every weekend, he would travel long distances from Midland back to Amarillo, simply to be with his girlfriend, friends, and family. Those who knew him say that being present for the people he loved mattered more to him than anything else.

This past weekend, however, that journey ended in tragedy.

A shooting in Amarillo claimed Deven’s life, along with another teenager. Ten additional people were injured in the same incident. What should have been an ordinary night in the community turned into one of shock, grief, and heartbreak.

News of his pᴀssing spread quickly, leaving family, friends, and classmates struggling to process the loss of someone so young, so full of life, and so deeply loved.

Those closest to Deven remember not just how he died, but how he lived — with laughter, loyalty, and a presence that made others feel valued and seen.

Now, his absence leaves a silence that words cannot fill.

Deven’s story has become one of remembrance — a reminder of how fragile life can be, and how quickly everything can change.

He is gone far too soon, but not forgotten.

Rest in peace, Deven Antonucci 🕊️❤️‍🩹
