When little Noah Connell was born, his young parents, Jade Gordon and Kieran Connell, were completely unprepared for the challenges that lay ahead. 👶💔

The surgery involved placing metal rods and a scaffold into Noah’s jaw to gradually move it forward, creating more space for his airway and helping his face develop. His parents were taught how to carefully adjust the device over several weeks. 🦷💙

The treatment successfully moved Noah’s jaw forward by around four centimeters. 🌟

But the surgery was only one part of an incredibly difficult first year.

Noah underwent eight operations and spent much of his early life dependent on medical equipment and tube feeding. He received a high-calorie formula through a gastrointestinal tube to help him grow and gain strength. 🏥👶💗

And then came the moment his family had been praying for.
