When 11-year-old Masion Turner-Potter began experiencing changes in his behavior, doctors initially believed some of the symptoms could be related to autism. But his family would soon receive devastating news. 💔

Masion was eventually diagnosed with alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare and aggressive form of cancer that affects soft tissue. 🏥🎗️

The diagnosis came as a huge shock to his family. Masion was facing stage 4 cancer, with doctors giving him difficult odds and an uncertain future. 😢🙏

But Masion wasn’t facing the battle alone.

His best friend, 10-year-old Oscar Steers, was heartbroken when he learned how seriously ill his friend was. Instead of simply watching from the sidelines, Oscar decided he wanted to do something to help. 🥺💙

Oscar began raising money for Masion and his family, hoping to help them during the incredibly difficult months ahead.

His efforts quickly gained attention, with the fundraiser eventually raising more than £65,000. 💷✨

For Masion’s family, the support has meant so much more than money.

It has shown them that their little boy has an entire community standing behind him — including a best friend who refused to give up hope. ❤️🙏
