For most children, turning five is a time for birthday celebrations, laughter and new adventures.

For Shaye, reaching five is a remarkable milestone — one that reflects years of courage, surgeries and countless hospital days. 💙

Born a twin, Shaye came into the world with an extremely complex heart condition known as Tetralogy of Fallot with pulmonary atresia and severe MAPCAs.

His medical journey began almost immediately. By just two months old, he had already undergone his first major open-heart surgery. Since then, he has faced multiple heart procedures, catheterizations, shunt surgery and other serious medical challenges. 🏥💗

Yet through it all, Shaye has continued to grow stronger.

🌷🫀 A NEW CHAPTER AWAITS
Now, doctors believe Shaye has finally reached the size and weight needed for another highly specialized heart operation — one they hope can give him a stronger future and more time away from the hospital.

After months of searching, his family found a specialist at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital at Stanford in California who can perform the complex procedure.

The family will need to remain there for about a month while Shaye recovers. The journey has brought not only emotional stress, but also a significant financial burden for his family. 🙏

Still, his mother holds onto one simple hope:

to get Shaye there and give him the best chance at a brighter future. 💙
