🥺💗 SHE ONCE HID FROM MIRRORS — UNTIL HER MOM FOUND A BEAUTIFUL WAY TO HELP HER LOVE HERSELF

Six-year-old Vitória was born with a large facial haemangioma, a raised growth made up of blood vessels. Although it has never caused her pain or prevented her from living a normal childhood, Vitória once struggled deeply with the way she looked. 💔

She noticed that she looked different from her younger sister, Alice, and other family members. For a while, she avoided mirrors and didn’t want anyone to take her picture.

Her mother, Rose, wanted to help her daughter see herself in a different way. 🌷

When Rose noticed how much Vitória enjoyed pH๏τography, she began creating fun little pH๏τoshoots with her — dressing up, styling her hair and simply letting her enjoy being in front of the camera. 📸✨

Slowly, something changed.

Vitória became more confident and began enjoying pH๏τos instead of hiding from them. Rose eventually started sharing the pictures online, where people from around the world began sending messages of encouragement.

Some of the most meaningful messages came from adults who also live with haemangiomas, telling the family that Vitória’s confidence had inspired them to stop hiding themselves. 💗

Vitória continues to receive embolization treatments to help reduce blood flow to the haemangioma, and her family hopes she will eventually be able to have surgery to remove it.

But her mother’s greatest wish isn’t about changing her appearance.

“The only thing I wish for my daughter is that she is happy and that she is very healthy.” 🕊️

And perhaps the most beautiful part of Vitória’s journey is this: her mother didn’t teach her that she needed to look different to be beautiful.

She helped her discover that she was already worthy of being seen. 🌈💗
