When little Nancy was just 14 months old, her mother Gemma noticed that something had changed. What began with severe vomiting soon became much more concerning, but Nancy was initially treated for other conditions. Nothing seemed to explain why her little girl was becoming weaker. 💔

Then Nancy’s condition suddenly worsened. She became unusually quiet, spent her days lying on the sofa, and her right arm began shaking uncontrollably. Even when early tests appeared clear, her mother refused to simply take her home without answers. 🙏💗

Further ᴀssessment and an MRI finally revealed the devastating truth: doctors had discovered a large tumour on the left side of Nancy’s brain. She was diagnosed with ependymoma, a type of brain tumour. 🏥💔

Nancy underwent brain surgery, with doctors removing most of the tumour, followed by another operation and months of chemotherapy. There were frightening moments along the way, including seizures and intensive care, but this little girl kept fighting. 🌈✨

Then came the moment her family had been waiting for.

On January 6, Nancy rang the end-of-treatment bell. 🔔🥹💗

She still needs regular scans and follow-up care, but her family is encouraged by how well she is doing.
