When little Florence Wilde began becoming unusually tired and her stomach started to swell, her parents knew something wasn’t right. 👶💔

For several weeks, Anna Chattaway and Dom Wilde repeatedly took their daughter to the doctor. They were told that Florence was suffering from constipation and were given laxatives. But her stomach continued to grow larger, and she remained in pain. 😢

Her parents kept pushing for answers.

Eventually, Florence’s grandmother urged the family to request a blood test. The results showed abnormalities, prompting doctors to investigate further. 🔎🩺

In November 2024, just after her first birthday, Florence was diagnosed with neuroblastoma, a rare childhood cancer that develops from immature nerve cells. 💔

Doctors discovered a 30-centimeter tumor in her abdomen — an enormous mᴀss for such a small child. It weighed around 2 kilograms, nearly 15% of Florence’s body weight. 🏥

Florence underwent major surgery at Birmingham Children’s Hospital, followed by intensive chemotherapy and immunotherapy. Doctors initially believed the disease was localized, but scans later revealed that the cancer had also spread to her spine. 😔💗

Despite everything she has endured, Florence has continued to amaze her family.

Her mother says that throughout months of treatment, her little girl remained full of life and continued to smile even during some of the most difficult moments. 🥹🌈

By April 2026, doctors told the family that Florence’s cancer had stopped progressing. It was a moment of enormous relief after an incredibly difficult journey. 🙏💙

Now, her parents are raising more than $136,000 for a treatment called DFMO, which they hope will help reduce the risk of the cancer returning. The treatment is no longer being offered through the NHS in the way Florence’s family hoped. 💗

Today, Florence is described by her family as a happy little girl who is enjoying life at home. 🏡🥰

Her journey has been filled with fear, uncertainty and difficult treatments — but also incredible resilience.

What began with a swollen tummy that seemed like an ordinary childhood problem became a life-changing diagnosis. Yet little Florence continues to smile, grow and give her family hope for the future. 🥺💗🌈
