🥺💗 A FAMILY VACATION TURNED INTO A FIGHT FOR LITTLE ELIZA’S LIFE

Two-year-old Eliza Kathryn left Texas with her family for what was supposed to be a happy visit to her great-grandmother in Minnesota.

But on July 7, 2026, everything changed. Eliza suddenly became critically ill and was flown to Mayo Clinic in Rochester. Doctors discovered a severe narrowing in her esophagus, with an opening only about as wide as a coffee straw. 💔🏥

Her condition became life-threatening after doctors believe a vomiting episode caused the esophagus to perforate, leading to fluid building up in her chest and a collapsed lung.

For about two weeks, Eliza needed a ventilator and chest tubes. Feeding tubes were placed directly into her stomach and small intestine because she could no longer swallow safely. 🥺

Thankfully, she eventually became stable enough to return home to Texas. But her journey is far from over.

Doctors have told her family that her damaged esophagus cannot be saved. They are now exploring a highly complex surgery that could use part of her small intestine to create a new pᴀssage, giving Eliza a chance to swallow again. ✨

Her parents, Louis and Ariel, are facing an incredibly difficult road ahead. Ariel is also seven months pregnant with their second child.

🙏 Please keep little Eliza and her family in your prayers.
Pray for wisdom for her doctors, strength for her tiny body, and hope for the days ahead. 💗🌷

Sometimes, hope begins with something as simple as believing that one day, a little girl will be able to eat and smile again. 🕊️✨
