A California family’s desperate search for a missing mother of seven has ended in tragedy after authorities shifted their investigation into a death investigation.

Tatiana McIntyre, 29, who also went by the name Alison Riley, reportedly disappeared after visiting her former boyfriend’s Fresno home to see their two children around 12:10 p.m. Tuesday.

According to her mother, Riley’s former partner had a history of alleged domestic violence and had previously been accused of choking Riley and preventing her from leaving the home.

Family members told local media that Riley’s phone was reportedly detected at the residence around 1 p.m. before going offline.

Concern grew when Riley did not arrive to pick up her children from school later that day. Her family began searching for answers and eventually tracked the rental vehicle she had been using to an orchard near McKinley Avenue and Academy Avenue.

Her vehicle was reportedly found abandoned with her personal belongings still inside, and police took possession of it as the investigation continued. 🕯️

Authorities later served a search warrant at her former boyfriend’s home.

Riley’s mother, Liberty Lopez, waited outside the residence for hours, desperately hoping for news about her daughter.

“I’ve been here since 5 a.m., waiting to hear anything about my daughter,” Lopez said.

“We’re just hoping for the best. We just want her home. We want to know where she’s at. We want to see her alive.” 💔

The Fresno Police Department later confirmed that the investigation had shifted from a missing-person case to a death investigation at a home on East Grove Avenue.

Police secured the area with yellow tape as investigators worked to determine what happened.

Friends later confirmed that Riley had been found ᴅᴇᴀᴅ, leaving behind seven children who are now facing the unimaginable loss of their mother. 🕊️

A fundraiser has since been established to help support her children and ᴀssist with funeral expenses.
