🧸 A LITTLE LIFE, SO DEEPLY LOVED

Levi’s family remembered the simple things that made him special.

He loved spending time outdoors with his siblings and cousins, watching PJ Masks, playing with his family and being around animals. His loved ones affectionately remembered him as their little “Chunky Monkey.”

Those memories are now among the most precious things his family carries with them.

While six months could never have been enough, every day Levi spent with the people who loved him mattered.

💙 A COMMUNITY REMEMBERED HIM, TOO

Following Levi’s pᴀssing in July 2018, people throughout Natchitoches came together to honor his memory.

On August 4, around 150 people gathered along the downtown riverbank for a prayer rally and memorial in his honor. The gathering brought families and community members together to support one another and remember a little boy whose life had touched so many.

A balloon release became a quiet symbol of remembrance — a way for the community to say that Levi’s name would not be forgotten.

🕊️ MORE THAN A HEADLINE

Years later, Levi should be remembered not simply for the tragedy surrounding his pᴀssing, but for who he was.

A baby who smiled.

A son who was loved.

A grandson who was treasured.

A little boy whose family had already imagined so many tomorrows for him.

His life was far too short, but it was not without meaning. The love surrounding him during those six months continues through the memories his family and community preserved.

Six months was never enough time for a lifetime.

But it was enough time to leave an everlasting place in the hearts of those who loved him. 💙🕊️
