Timber Taylor, 6, pᴀssed away Wednesday following a tragic accident at a logging site in Attala County, Mississippi.

Family members and community supporters gathered to celebrate the life of a child remembered not for the circumstances of his pᴀssing, but for the happiness he shared during his short time on earth.

Timber had recently completed first grade and was known as a curious, energetic little boy who loved spending time outdoors.

Those close to him said he enjoyed playing ball with friends, fishing, hunting, and creating memories with his family.

But according to his loved ones, some of Timber’s favorite moments came from simply being with his father, Ryan Taylor.

The two shared a special bond through their time together outdoors, working side by side in the woods and enjoying family moments at Smith Lake.

After losing his son, Ryan shared a heartbreaking message asking for prayers and support.

“My family needs all the prayers we can get to get us through this time,” he wrote. “I lost my best friend today and I’m at a loss for words.”

He also asked friends and community members to share any pH๏τos or videos they had of Timber, explaining that those memories would become precious reminders of the little boy his family loved so deeply.

Loved ones have asked the community to continue lifting up Ryan and Timber’s mother, Haley, along with Timber’s brothers and sisters, grandparents, extended family, classmates, and church community.
