A quiet Doral neighborhood was left in shock Tuesday night after four members of a family were found ᴅᴇᴀᴅ inside a home, including two young girls whose lives ended far too soon.

Melanie Hyer, 46, a well-known local realtor, was found ᴅᴇᴀᴅ alongside her daughters, 11-year-old Savannah Whiten and 8-year-old Sienna Whiten, and the girls’ father, 42-year-old Ryan Whiten.

The Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office said the four deaths appeared to involve multiple stab wounds. Investigators are treating the case as a possible murder-***cide, although authorities have not publicly established the exact sequence of events or identified which person may have been responsible.

The discovery came after a concerned friend requested a welfare check at the home. When officers arrived, they found the four victims inside, turning what had appeared to be an ordinary residential setting into the scene of a devastating investigation.
