💔🙏 HE WAS SUPPOSED TO START HIS SENIOR YEAR OF COLLEGE — INSTEAD, HIS FAMILY IS SAYING GOODBYE

On the morning Quinn Bosse was supposed to begin his senior year of college, his life was tragically cut short.

The 21-year-old was operating a John Deere tractor on FM 149 in the Richards community, near his family’s Texas ranch, shortly before 7 a.m. on August 19 when a pickup truck struck the tractor from behind, according to KBTX.

Quinn died at the scene.

The tragedy came on a day that was supposed to mark the beginning of an exciting final year at Sam Houston State University.

Quinn was a 2023 graduate of Brenham High School and, according to his obituary, had been eagerly anticipating the first day of his senior year.

Instead, his family and friends were left to mourn a young man whose life was filled with plans, accomplishments and dreams that would never have the chance to unfold. 💔

Quinn loved the ranch and everything that came with life outdoors. He loved animals, hunting and the outdoors, and he participated in golf, skiing, 4-H and FFA.

He was also an Eagle Scout, an accomplishment he shared with his brother and best friend, Blaine.

His family remembered him as someone with “the brilliant mind of an engineer,” an extraordinary work ethic, a sarcastic wit and a deep faith in Jesus Christ.

They described Quinn as a “truly Golden human being.”

And the impact he had on others is already becoming part of his legacy.

Members and families of Brenham High School’s Class of 2023 came together to collect money for flowers for Quinn’s funeral.

They gave so generously that after the floral arrangement was purchased, the group still had $350 remaining.

That money is now being put toward a scholarship in Quinn’s name. ❤️

There is something profoundly meaningful about that.

Quinn never got the opportunity to begin his own senior year.

But his memory may now help another student begin — and eventually complete — theirs.

His funeral was held yesterday, marking another painful milestone for the people who loved him.

For Quinn’s parents, his brother Blaine and everyone who knew him, the first days of grief are only the beginning of a much longer journey.

The shock will eventually give way to ordinary mornings without him, holidays, birthdays and countless moments when they will wish they could call him, see him or hear his voice again.

But Quinn’s story will also live on through the people he touched, the memories he created and the scholarship that will carry his name forward.
