💔🕊️ 18-Year-Old Woman Found Inside Boston Rental Home as Authorities Confirm Homicide Investigation

An 18-year-old woman’s heartbreaking case has left a Boston community searching for answers after authorities confirmed that her pᴀssing has officially been ruled a homicide.

Yoseliani Ann Marte Ocasio was discovered inside a rental property in Boston’s Mattapan neighborhood on July 18 after officers responded to an emergency call shortly before 2 p.m. Upon arriving at the residence, first responders found the young woman suffering from a serious injury. Despite their efforts, she was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Following a medical examination, the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner officially determined that the case was a homicide, shifting the investigation into an active criminal matter.

Boston Police detectives ᴀssigned to the Homicide Unit continue working to determine exactly what happened inside the residence before officers arrived. Investigators are asking anyone with relevant information to come forward and ᴀssist with the ongoing investigation.

As of the latest public update, authorities have not announced any arrests or publicly identified a suspect. Representative Pressley released a public statement expressing deep sorrow following confirmation of the homicide. She shared her sympathy with Yoseliani’s family and loved ones, describing the loss of someone so young as truly heartbreaking.

“As the parent of a teenager, I cannot imagine the pain this family is experiencing,” Pressley said, while urging compᴀssion and support for everyone affected by the tragedy.
