When Gabi Shull was just nine years old, a simple fall while ice skating changed her life forever. 🥺⛸️

At first, her parents thought the pain in her knee was only a bruise. But after two weeks without improvement, doctors ordered further tests. An MRI revealed the devastating truth: Gabi had osteosarcoma, a rare form of bone cancer affecting her knee. 💔🏥

During the operation, doctors removed the affected knee, rotated Gabi’s foot 180 degrees, and attached it to the remaining upper leg. Her ankle could then function as a new knee, giving her a greater chance of mobility. 🦿💪

The procedure was extremely uncommon — but Gabi had one powerful motivation:
