🚨 BABY S SHEFFIELD CASE: FOUR ADULTS FROM ONE FAMILY CIRCLE FACE COURT — BUT ONE RELATIONSHIP HAS LEFT PEOPLE STUNNED

The Sheffield Baby S case has taken another deeply troubling turn, with four adults from the same family circle now facing the most serious allegations following the d#ath of a newborn girl.

Andrea Skopova, 20, the mother of Baby S, has been charged alongside her boyfriend, Peter Horvath Jr, 19. Prosecutors have also charged Horvath Jr’s parents, Peter Horvath Sr, 38, and Nina Horvathova, 37. All four face charges including mu#der, causing or allowing the d#ath of a child, and perverting the course of justice.

That family connection has become one of the most closely watched aspects of the case.

According to evidence outlined in court, Skopova was Horvath Jr’s girlfriend, while Horvath Jr is the son of the two older defendants. Prosecutors also told the court that the baby’s father is currently unknown and that Horvath Jr is not believed to be the father.

A fifth defendant, a 15-year-old girl who cannot legally be named, is facing a separate charge of perverting the course of justice. Two other women, aged 26 and 37, were also arrested during the investigation on suspicion of mu#der but remain on bail.

The court has already heard that Baby S was discovered at a property in Holywell Heights, in Sheffield’s Wincobank area, after police were called over concerns for the safety of an infant. A forensic post-mortem later determined that the baby’s d#ath resulted from st#b wounds.

The case has now moved rapidly through the courts. All five defendants were remanded in custody, and at Sheffield Crown Court on September 3, Judge Sarah Wright set a provisional trial date for April 12, 2027. The trial is expected to last six to seven weeks, with the next hearing scheduled for October 2.

But despite the number of people facing charges, the court has not established who was responsible for what happened. The CPS has specifically reminded the public that these are active proceedings and that the defendants have the right to a fair trial.

And that leaves one of the biggest unanswered questions surrounding the case:

👀 How did a newborn girl become the centre of a case involving her own mother, her mother’s boyfriend, and his parents — and what will the evidence ultimately reveal when the full trial begins?
